Time goes by

So thinking of how fast time goes by (see post below) It made me realize just how much you forget. Although you tell yourself you'll never forget, things get erased, or replaced with time. So once in a while (since this is the closest thing to a journal I have) I'm going to post something that I don't ever want to forget.

Today we were at Jeff Jenkins Farwell luncheon. E and L were jumping on the trampoline together, playing with balls. Every time L would drop his ball, E would jump off the trampoline and give it back to him. E is such a good brother! I know they have their bad times, but the love there is WAY more than the dislike!!! I hope it lasts.

Something I don't want to forget about L, is the way his tounge goes in his cheek. If he is being shy, or if he's done something he's proud of, he'll stick his tounge in his cheek and give a little smirk, avert his head and eyes. One day, hopefully, I'll get a picture of that, it's my favorite face he makes (Besides his big grin!)

Want some cake?

I did. I wanted Angel Food Cake so bad I could taste it! So I made one before work. And Let me tell you, my whole shift ALL I could think of was that cake. So I come home, Everything LOOKS normal, I go say goodnight to the boys and then I go for some cake. And this is what I found

NO CAKE!!!!!!

What happened, you ask?

He happened.
He tried to tell me that Logan wanted a piece, knocked the cake off the counter, and Fisher ate it all. I believed him for a second, only because that could really happen, but then, again. I WANTED CAKE!!! THAT BETTER NOT HAVE HAPPENED!!!Lucky for him, he just hid the cake.
He happened a few days before April 1st, so I've GOT to get him back somehow. . .

Where did it go?

The month of March that is. Time goes by so fast. We got to enjoy the nice weather (while it lasted) We played out side so much, now the boys can't figure out why they can't go out and play anymore. I swear they don't feel the cold. We played outside at the babysitters a couple days ago (waiting for the police to come unlock my car, but that's a different story all together. . .) and I was so cold, and they weren't even phased by the weather. I wish I was more like that! So here are a couple pictures of nice weather. Look at them and try to keep warm!

E loves to look at the mountains with Dad and find the deer. I'm not quite sure if he's ever found them, he usually likes to find his brother, or a toy, or Grandma's house! I know one day he'll be as good at it as Dad!

"Bright" I know L is two now, but it seems like yesterday he was born. It is still weird to me that he can talk and communicate, and do things himself.

Interesting picture, huh? We were at the Lonepeak Pond fishing with Dad (well, Dad was fishing, we went to the playground) On the way to find Dad, E had to go. So he go's in the bushes. L can't figure out what brother is doing, so of course, he goes and looks. Gotta love that!

Februarys Picture of the Day

Lets count them. Did I take more pictures in February? NOPE!!! Well I took 17 to 21, so that's not bad, considering there are a couple less days in February, right? Better luck in March!

A funny conversation.

A funny Conversation. I have them frequently. I've decided I need to start writing them down more, because as much as I think, I'll never forget that, I do.

(This conversation happend while driving through Sardine Canyon on the way to Grandmas. After being in the car for 1 1/2 hours, and hearing Ethan talk about this and that and the other. . .)

Ethan: Mom, where are our batteries?
Mom: What batteries, sweetheart?
E: You know, OUR batteries?
M (more than a little impatiently): I Don't know what batteries you'r talking about!
E (now he's impatient): The Batteries that make US work!!!
M: OH (ah ha moment, he's really thinking hard about this) We don't really have batteries, eth, we have hearts and brains to make us work.
E: Oh.

Fast forward two days, Driving through Sardine on the way home, almost in the exact same place funny enough

E: I think I know what our batteries are. . . They are our legs!!

The mind of a child, I tell you what! It never ceases to amaze me

I'm posting this while making lunch, and of cours here comes another one of those conversations, well it was more of a statement.

Ethan: Mom, You have three boobs!

Ethan, Dad only wishes. . .
